The Foundation

The FXA Sr. Foundation is a localized foundation with a commitment to enrich the lives of cancer patients and their families.

The Foundation was founded in 2003 by Frank Ahearn Jr. in memory of his loving father who lost a year long battle to lung cancer in August of 1996

It is the Foundation's mission to have an immediate impact on the lives of families who are experiencing the physical, mental and financial strains that accompany ongoing cancer treatments.

Upcoming Events
A very dear friend, Cindy Martins, will be running the NYC Marathon Sunday, November 4th. through Fred's Team for my Foundation's Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

In 2016, together we raised over 60k which has helped make a difference in hundreds of families' lives. If you have ever experienced a friend or family member battling cancer, you understand the last thing someone should be worrying about are the everyday costs such as a car payment, mortgage payment, or things that most of us take for granted, like heat during the winter or putting food on the table. It is important to note that EVERY penny passed to our Fund from Fred's Team will help one of the these deserving families concentrate on what is most important, fighting this terrible disease! No money from our Fund or Foundation goes to salaries, research or medical costs.
I thank you in advance for your continued support and generosity. No donation is too small!
